Outreach

Missions and Evangelism programs are active throughout the year and managed by the Outreach Committee. Local nonprofit groups in the community receive donations of items, money and time.  Groups which have been sponsored include Community Christian Concern, Slidell Ladies for Liberty, STARC, One Way Love and Forged by Fire.  During Christmas, a family unit is selected by the committee and is showered with their Christmas wish list gifts. Other mission  activities have included door offerings for storm victims, drive- by meals with Forged by Fire for the neighborhood, and sponsoring a booth at a community wide wild game cookoff with all proceeds given to charity. Lamb of has two designated funds for Alms, one for church members in need and another for needs in the community. Free Bibles for adults and children along with other written devotional materials are available on our Peace Table in the Narthex and in our Little Free Library at the front of our property.
