ABOUT US

LoG is a family of believers gathered around God's Word.  We are a fun-loving, hard working group of people that want to share everything Christ has richly blessed us with.  Ministry is all about relationships.  It is outreach (interacting with and serving our community) and in reach (fellowship with our brothers and sisters in faith).

LoG is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod (LCMS).

Rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we seek to make a difference in the lives of our members and our community through prayer, service, study of God's Word, and in Word and sacrament-based worship, and a living of discipleship as a result, or fruit of faith (Ephesians 2:10).

We believe that Christians are called not to condemn the world, but to share the Gospel, which is that God provided His salvation for the entire world. We show mercy to others as Jesus did, that all people might come to know God as a merciful Father who sent His only Son that we might not spend eternity without Him but have eternal life! (John 3:16-17)

Our reason for existence is our belief that the Bible is the inerrant and inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16), that Jesus Christ died and rose to save us from sin, death and Satan, and to give us eternal life in His name, and thus we share this Gospel with all people, and to serve them in love and peace. The Bible reveals that all people are separated from God by our sin (Romans 3:10-20).

Scripture reveals that God became a human, Jesus of Nazareth, the promised Messiah, through whom we are forgiven and restored to a right relationship with God (Romans 3:21-28). We call this announcement of forgiveness and reconciliation the Gospel, or the Good News (John 20:31).

We believe that Holy Baptism is a gift from God where, through water and the Word, He declares us to be His children (Acts 2:38-39). This gift is for all people of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20), whether young or old, rich or poor, black or white (Galatians 3:28).

We believe that in the Lord’s Supper the partaker really receives Christ’s body and blood. Jesus instituted this for the forgiveness of our sins (Matthew 26:26-28). This is a sacred and holy meal, reserved for those who have made a public commitment to the Faith believed, taught and confessed by our congregation (1 Corinthians 1:10).

All are freely welcomed here at Lamb of God. Come as you are. No one is ever turned away, for Jesus does not turn any of us away. "No perfect people are allowed here".

OUR VISION

Know Him!  Follow Him!  Share Him!

WHAT WE DO

Come and Grow with Us!

We strive to put into practice our Christian faith, as we live our everyday lives.  Are we perfect?  No!  That is why we strive with living the holistic faith, nourished via the Means of Grace.  It is God's Love for us, and our response to His Love.  We are called to give away the gifts we have freely received by God's grace and be in the community, outside the walls of our sanctuary, developing relationships with and serving all people as Christ loved and served us.
