Obituary
Eldon James Beck, of Slidell, went home to be with his heavenly Father on Tuesday May 13,2025 at the age of 91.
He was born on a farm in Clear Lake, Iowa to Leonard and Merle Beck. Eldon was raised in Charles City, Iowa. On June 20, 1953, He married his high school sweetheart, Alice Wiltse Beck at the Little Brown Church in the Vale. Eldon was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather who took immense pride in his family. Everyone loved Pops!
Eldon served in the US Army National Guard right out of high school for 3 years and was very proud of his time spent in the National Guard. In February 1956, Eldon and Alice relocated to Calexico, California, where he worked for a short time at the Calexico post office before joining the United States Customs.
